While my role is to help a client translate their personal style into a design for their home, my own preferences lean toward fresh classicism, and traditional with a twist.
I have been influenced by England, France, Charleston, Washington D.C., Boston/Beacon Hill/Back Bay, and NYC Pre-War styles. I pay close attention to scale, proportion, color, style, and flow in a project. The grandeur and formality mixed with charming warmth is what appeals to me.
I have successfully done mid-century modern, farmhouse and industrial styles. I use a mix of trade, antique, family and vintage pieces in each project to make it truly unique. I am committed to personalizing each project for my clients.

Because I work one on one with my clients, I can help them define a budget and comprehensive plan that works for them.
I provide various levels of service to accommodate all needs, whether you want a second set of eyes but prefer to execute yourself, or just need help selecting a paint palette. My services are scalable - from a small space refresh to a complete home design.
While hiring a decorator is an extra cost, it is essential to prevent wasting money on furnishings that will not work over the long term and will need to be replaced.

This can be very confusing to clients because every decorator/designer charges differently. Some home décor stores even offer “free” design advice if you buy products from them (usually at full markup pricing, so you wind up paying for it anyway).
I am very transparent in my pricing. I charge an hourly fee for my design advice, payable in advance as well as a markup on any items that I identify or purchase for the project. I have access to trade-only vendors, providing a vast selection of resources to use on a project.
